Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy was last updated on June 29, 2026.

Nuts operates this online store and the associated site materials, functionality, instruments, merchandise, content, and services to deliver a curated customer shopping experience (collectively, the “Services”). Shopify powers the store and enables those Services. This notice describes the ways we obtain, use, and disclose personal data when someone visits or uses the Services, completes a purchase or another transaction, or contacts us. If the Terms of Service conflict with this notice on collecting, processing, or disclosing personal data, this notice governs that issue.

Please review this notice. Accessing or using any Service acknowledges that you have read and understood the practices described below.

Personal Information We Collect or Process

“Personal data” means information that identifies a person or can reasonably be associated with one. Anonymous or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to a person is outside that definition. Depending on a customer’s interaction, residence, and applicable law, we may collect or process the categories below and draw inferences from them.

  • Contact details, including a name, email address, telephone number, street address, billing address, and delivery address.
  • Payment and financial details, including card or account numbers, financial-account information, transaction records, payment type, confirmations, and related payment data.
  • Account data, such as a login name, password, preferred settings, and the answers selected for security questions.
  • Transaction history and shopping activity, including products viewed, wish-listed, placed in a cart, purchased, exchanged, returned, or cancelled.
  • Information contained in messages sent to us, including support requests.
  • Device and connection data, such as browser and network details, IP address, device information, and unique identifiers.
  • Usage data showing when and how a visitor navigates or otherwise interacts with the Services.

Personal Information Sources

Personal data can reach us through several channels:

  • you may provide it directly while creating an account, visiting or using a Service, communicating with us, or otherwise submitting information;
  • the Services may collect it automatically from a device, including through cookies and comparable technologies;
  • service providers may obtain or process it while supplying technology or acting for us; and
  • partners and other external parties may provide it.

How We Use Your Personal Information

The particular uses depend on a person’s interactions and the Services involved.

Providing, adapting, and improving the Services. We use data to perform our contract, take payment, fulfill and ship orders, remember preferences and products of interest, issue account notices, process purchases and other transactions, handle returns or exchanges, create and administer accounts, support reviews, recommend related merchandise, and otherwise personalize or improve the shopping experience.

Marketing and advertising. Data may support promotional messages sent by email, text, or post and advertisements displayed through the Services or elsewhere. Those promotions may reflect prior purchases, cart activity, or other use of the Services.

Security and fraud prevention. We use information to authenticate accounts, secure shopping and payment, identify or investigate suspected fraud or other illegal, unsafe, or malicious conduct, take appropriate action, protect public safety, and safeguard the Services. Account holders are responsible for protecting their usernames, passwords, and other access credentials and should not share them.

Customer communications. Information helps us answer requests, provide support and effective service, and maintain the customer relationship.

Legal purposes. Data may be processed to meet legal duties, answer valid process or government and law-enforcement requests, conduct civil discovery, address threatened or pending litigation or another adversarial proceeding, and enforce or investigate possible breaches of our policies or terms.

How We Disclose Personal Information

When legitimate purposes covered by this notice require it, personal data may be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • to Shopify, vendors, and service providers supporting functions such as IT administration, payments, analytics, customer care, cloud storage, fulfillment, and delivery;
  • to advertising or marketing partners. Shopify, for example, can facilitate personalized advertising based on online activity across merchants and websites. Each partner handles information under its own privacy notice. Where local law grants a choice, a person may instruct us against sharing data for cross-context targeted advertising;
  • when the person directs, requests, or consents to disclosure, including shipment fulfillment, social-media widgets, or login integrations;
  • among our affiliates or corporate group; and
  • during a merger, bankruptcy, or comparable business event; to satisfy legal duties and valid subpoenas, warrants, or similar demands; to enforce terms or policies; or to protect the Services and the rights of us, our users, or other people.

Relationship with Shopify

Shopify hosts the Services and processes data about access and use so the Services can be provided and improved. Information submitted through the store is transmitted to Shopify and to service participants that may operate outside the customer’s country. We also use Shopify enhanced features that combine a person’s interactions with this store, Shopify, and other merchants to protect, develop, and improve our business. For those enhanced features, Shopify is responsible for its processing and for requests concerning the associated rights. Details appear in Shopify’s privacy notice for consumers, and eligible rights may be exercised through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Third Party Websites and Links

Links within the Services may lead to platforms controlled by others. Before using an unaffiliated site, review its privacy, security, and other terms. We do not warrant or accept responsibility for that site’s privacy, security, accuracy, completeness, or reliability. Material posted in public or semi-public spaces, including external social networks, can be visible and used by other users without limits imposed by us. Merely providing a link is not an endorsement of the platform, owner, operator, or content unless the Services expressly say otherwise.

Children's Data

The Services are not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone below the age of majority where that person lives. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may contact us below and request deletion. On the date this notice takes effect, we do not actually know that we sell or share, as those terms are legally defined, personal data belonging to anyone younger than sixteen.

Security and Retention of Your Information

No safeguard is flawless or impenetrable, and we cannot promise absolute security. Information can also be exposed while in transit, so sensitive or confidential material should not be sent through an insecure channel.

Retention periods depend on the reason the data is needed, including account administration, delivery of the Services, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of contracts or policies.

Your Rights and Choices

A person’s location may provide some or all of the rights below. They are not absolute, may arise only in particular circumstances, and can be declined when the law permits.

  • Access or knowledge: requesting personal data kept in our records.
  • Deletion: asking us to erase personal data we maintain.
  • Correction: asking us to fix inaccurate data in our records.
  • Portability: obtaining a copy or, where applicable and subject to exceptions, directing a transfer to another party.
  • Targeted-advertising choice: where available, opting out of a legally defined sale, sharing, or processing for targeted advertising. An enabled Global Privacy Control signal is treated, where required, as an opt-out for the browser and device and will extend to a linked Shopify account when linkage is possible. Information about that signal is available at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. We do not recognize browser or device “Do Not Track” signals other than Global Privacy Control.

Promotional email preferences can be changed through the unsubscribe mechanism in those messages. Even after opting out, a customer may still receive non-promotional communications concerning an account or an order.

Rights may be exercised through the places identified in the Services or through the contact information below. Shopify’s data practices and rights concerning Shopify processing are described at https://privacy.shopify.com/en.

Exercising a right will not result in discriminatory treatment by us. Identity verification may be required or permitted by law. An authorized agent may act where local law allows, but must prove the authorization, and we may also verify the individual directly. We respond within the period required by applicable law.

Complaints

Questions or complaints about our processing can be sent through the contact details below. Depending on residence, a person may be entitled to appeal our response by contacting us or to complain to the local data-protection authority.

International Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to, kept in, and processed in a country other than the country of residence.

For transfers outside either the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we use a recognized safeguard such as the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent instrument issued by the competent UK authority, as applicable, unless the destination is formally recognized as providing adequate protection.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this notice from time to time to reflect operational practices or legal and regulatory developments. The updated notice will be posted here, its revision date will be changed, and any notice required by law will be supplied.
